To make it easier to tweet about a web page you are viewing you can use the gtwit bookmarklet. A bookmarklet is a kind of a bookmark you can add to your browsers bookmark menu.
Clicking on the tweet bookmarklet while you are viewing any web page will automatically fill in the tweet entry box with the title and link of the page making it really easy to tweet things to your friends.
Installing the bookmarklet
To install the bookmark you first need to show the bookmarks toolbar in your browser. This depends on your browser
- Firefox: see the popup menu View -> Toolbars -> Bookmarks toolbar
- Internet Explorer: see the popup menu View -> Favourites Bar
- Safari: see the popup menu View -> Show Bookmarks Bar
The bookmark toolbar should appear below the forward/back/home icons and address entry field near the top of the browser window.
Once the bookmark toolbar is visible, drag this tweet link onto your bookmarks toolbar in a gap between, before or after any existing bookmarks.

Using the bookmarket
When you are on a web page you find interesting, click the tweet link in your bookmarks bar which pop up the tweet box populated with the web page title and link.
